The new SlimFlex™ Laundry Tag, a highly durable UHF radio frequency identification (RFID) tag designed to be used in industrial laundry applications to withstand repeated washing and drying cycles in professional cleaning equipment. Being a small, flexible white strip, the tag can be easily embedded in clothing or linen and remain hidden to the user at everyday operations.
The tags’ unique thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) housings tolerate repeated bending or torsion, while maintaining excellent performance characteristics and safeguarding embedded electronics, even under harsh conditions.
The SlimFlex™ RFID tag is waterproof, provides high resistance to aggressive liquids and delivers reliable performance and reading stability across fluctuating temperatures. Custom color options are available, and tags may be embossed or laser-engraved with a logo or message for branding or enhanced visual identification.
Apart from laundry use case highly robust design makes it also ideal for many other industrial non-metal applications. The tag comes with a 256 bit EPC number and 512 bit additional user memory the tag is ready to suit even complex applications. The SlimFlex Laundry tag offers anti-collision functionality, fast data rate communication and a large read range compared to its size. Additionally the tag is compliant with EPCglobal-certified UHF Gen 2, ISO 18000-6C, readers and modules and covers worldwide UHF frequency ranges in a single tag – ideal for international operations.
