IsobarIsobar, the global digital marketing agency, is launching Isobar Create 32, in Asia Pacific next month. This global initiative follows the success of past events in London, Boston and San Francisco. The Singapore hackathon will be the first to take place, with Australia and China to follow within the next few months. Create 32 is an initiative by NowLab, Isobar’s innovation accelerator, which is designed to get world-class innovation out into market, faster than previously possible.

“The purpose behind Isobar Create is to connect brands and clients with local, entrepreneurial developers to generate an understanding of how innovation can enhance business objectives and creativity. We want to share how new interactive frontiers can exist within consumer engagement,” said Jean Lin, CEO of Isobar APAC and Global Chief Strategy Officer.

TUS Isobar will host Singapore’s first Near Field Communication (NFC) themed hackathon, which challenges developers to create their own NFC apps within 32 hours, to win prizes. The event will run from 10:00am on Saturday February, 23rd until 7:00pm on Sunday February, 24th, 2013. Up to 60 developers will be able to compete at Microsoft’s offices on One Marina Boulevard for the honour of winning the competition, along with prizes from headline sponsor, Samsung. Participants will develop their apps before pitching them to an esteemed panel of judges from the digital and tech world.
